Journal of Sustainable Innovation and Impact (JSII)
The Journal of Sustainable Innovation and Impact (JSII) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal published by TheSustainImpact (Portugal). JSII advances scholarly and applied research at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and societal impact.
The journal publishes full papers of 4,000–5,000 words (excluding figures, tables, and references), with a maximum of 6,000 words in total. Manuscripts must follow the APA 7th edition style and include an abstract of 200–250 words in a single paragraph without references. Authors are expected to ensure that at least 70% of cited references are from the last five years to reflect the latest state of research.
JSII welcomes submissions across environmental sciences, business and management, engineering, social sciences, and policy studies. All papers undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
The journal is published biannually under the CC BY 4.0 license, adheres to COPE-aligned ethics and transparent editorial policies, and ensures digital preservation through PKP PN/LOCKSS, supporting compliance with Scopus indexing standards.
