TheSustainImpact publishes two complementary open access outlets focused on sustainability, innovation, and societal impact: the TheSustainImpact Conference Proceedings Series (ISSN 3051-7362) and the Journal of Sustainable Innovation and Impact (JSII). The Proceedings Series documents conference and forum outputs, while JSII publishes peer-reviewed research articles.


1. Mission and Vision

TheSustainImpact’s publishing mission is to support high-quality dissemination of sustainability-related research and applied insights across academic, industry, and policy contexts. The platform prioritizes clarity, ethical integrity, and accessibility so published work can be used and cited by diverse audiences.


2. Aims and Scope

The Proceedings Series and JSII welcome contributions that advance understanding and practice in sustainability, innovation, and societal impact. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

  • Sustainable innovation and technology
  • Circular economy strategies
  • Digital transformation for sustainability
  • Management practices in sustainable business
  • Policy, education, and societal impact
  • Society 5.0 and the future of work
  • Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Submissions are expected to align with the outlet scope, follow relevant policies, and provide clear scholarly or applied value.


3. Audience and Community

TheSustainImpact serves researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and innovators seeking accessible outputs that support knowledge exchange and decision-making. Publications are intended to be readable and usable beyond a single disciplinary community.


4. Open Access

Publications are made available under an open access model to support broad dissemination. Authors retain copyright, and licensing follows the terms stated on the Open Access page: Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0).


5. Archiving and Preservation

Published content is preserved according to the Archiving and Preservation Policy, including participation in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) where available, and listing in the TheSustainImpact Publications Archive.


6. Indexing and Discoverability

TheSustainImpact supports discoverability through complete metadata, stable publication pages, and persistent identifiers where applicable. Inclusion in indexing and abstracting services is pursued in line with the eligibility criteria and review processes of each service.


7. Development

TheSustainImpact continues to develop its publishing program by strengthening editorial processes, improving publication workflows, and expanding collaborations with academic and professional communities relevant to sustainability, innovation, and societal impact.
