Journal of Sustainable Innovation and Impact (JSII), ISSN 3051-8083, is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by TheSustainImpact® (Portugal). JSII provides an international platform for publishing high-quality, original research at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and societal impact. Building on TheSustainImpact Conference Proceedings Series (ISSN 3051-7362), the journal supports rigorous scholarship with applied relevance and long-term accessibility.
1. Mission and Vision
JSII aims to support sustainability-focused research that bridges academia, industry, policy, and civil society. The journal publishes research that contributes to scholarly debate, informs decision-making, and supports sustainability-oriented practice. Through a single-blind peer review process and COPE-aligned editorial policies, JSII seeks to uphold integrity, transparency, and relevance in scholarly publishing.

The journal encourages contributions that connect scholarly insight with practical relevance for organizations, communities, institutions, and society.
4. Open Access Commitment
All articles are published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and disseminate the work.
5. Archiving and Preservation
JSII supports long-term accessibility of its content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and LOCKSS. Published articles are assigned Crossref DOIs, supporting persistent identification, metadata registration, discoverability, and citation linking.
6. Indexing and Recognition
JSII publishes biannually and follows recognized practices for transparency, publication ethics, peer review, open access, DOI registration, metadata quality, and digital preservation. The journal is developing its publication profile for possible future evaluation by indexing and abstracting services such as DOAJ, ERIH PLUS, and Scopus.
7. Future Development
