Open Access & Licensing Policy

The Journal of Sustainable Innovation and Impact (JSII), ISSN 3051-8083, is an open access journal. Published articles are made available online without subscription barriers, paywalls, or registration requirements.

1. Open Access Commitment

• Published content is freely accessible worldwide at no cost to readers.
• No subscription or registration is required to read or download articles.
• JSII supports open access publishing to increase accessibility, visibility, and reuse of scholarly work.

2. Licensing

• Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
• Authors retain copyright of their work.
• By submitting to JSII, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article in any format.

3. Author Rights

• Authors may deposit preprints, accepted manuscripts, and final published versions in repositories without embargo.
• Authors may reuse content in future works, presentations, or teaching with proper attribution to the original publication.
• Funding acknowledgements and ORCID iDs should be included where applicable.

4. Reader Rights

• Readers may copy, distribute, adapt, and build upon JSII content for any purpose, including commercial use, provided appropriate attribution is given to the original work and source in line with the CC BY 4.0 license.

5. Indexing and Metadata

• JSII makes article metadata available to support indexing, discovery, citation linking, and scholarly visibility.
• The journal is developing its publication profile for possible future evaluation by recognized indexing and abstracting services.
