The Journal of Sustainable Innovation and Impact (JSII) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by TheSustainImpact (Portugal). JSII provides an international platform for high-quality research at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and societal impact. The journal operates a rigorous double-blind peer review (≥2 independent reviewers) and follows COPE-aligned ethics, transparent policies, and robust preservation to meet leading indexing standards.
Mission and Vision
Our mission is to be a leading voice in sustainability publishing by bridging academia, industry, policy, and civil society. JSII publishes research that shapes debates, informs decisions, and inspires action to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a rigorous double-blind peer review process and adherence to COPE guidelines, JSII ensures integrity, inclusiveness, and lasting real-world impact.

Publication Model
Frequency: Biannual (June, December).
Open Access & License: CC BY 4.0 — authors retain copyright.
Article Type: Full Papers (4,000–8,000 words; APA 7th edition).
Editorial Process & Ethics
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose conflicts of interest. JSII follows COPE-aligned procedures for ethics, corrections, and retractions.
Preservation & Discoverability
JSII ensures long-term access via PKP PN and LOCKSS, assigns DOIs via Crossref, and maintains off-site backups. Policies, ethics, and schedules align with the requirements of DOAJ, ERIH PLUS, and Scopus.
Submissions
