Editorial Team

Last Updated: 07/09/2025

The Journal of Sustainable Innovation and Impact (JSII) is establishing a world-class editorial community to steward rigorous, fair, and impactful publishing. Governance is designed to align with Scopus indexing expectations through transparent roles, COPE-aligned ethics, and international representation.

1. Purpose and Editorial Mission

The Editorial Team’s mission is to ensure every published article meets JSII’s standards of methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and practical relevance. We champion contributions that advance knowledge, inform decision-making, and contribute to measurable societal benefit.

2. Editorial Governance

JSII is coordinated by the Editorial Office in line with the journal’s Peer Review Policy and Publication Ethics (PEMS). The Editor-in-Chief, Co-Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and Editorial Board Members provide oversight, ensure rigorous peer review, and uphold ethical standards.

The full roster of Editors and Editorial Board Members, including names, affiliations, and countries, is published here for transparency and will be updated as appointments are confirmed.

3. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Co-Editor-in-Chief: Supports editorial leadership; helps ensure consistent quality control and decision-making across submissions.
  • Managing Editor: Oversees workflows, timelines, and communications; coordinates editorial operations; and supports anonymization steps for double-blind review workflows where applicable.

5. Conflicts of Interest and Editorial Independence

Editors declare actual or perceived conflicts (institutional, collaborative, financial, personal) and recuse when appropriate. Decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, relevance, and integrity. Editorial decisions are independent of the publisher, sponsors, or organizational affiliation of the authors. See PEMS and Complaints & Appeals Policy.

6. Inclusion, Equity, and Global Representation

JSII is committed to an editorial community representing diverse regions, disciplines, perspectives, and career stages to strengthen fairness in peer review and global relevance.

7. Reviewer Community and Recognition
